Kathmandu

Shankar Datta Bhatt, born in Baitadi in the Far West Nepal he is a social activist, pastor and founder of the Good News Mission .Shankar, who was forced to leave his family due to Nepal’s maoist rule, went to church in Kailali district at the same time when he was depressed. For the past 20 years, the house of village Baitadi has been occupied by the Maoists. There are complaints in the National Human Rights Commission in various government bodies. The Prime Minister of the same Maoist party is sitting in the government today, but he has not worked for the rights and interests of the people.  Shankar is difficult Situation for leaving for nepal he is planning to live a refugee life other countries.

One reason is the reason for the armed Maoist conflict During my father was a village chairman of Nepali Congress and he returned after serving in the Indian army. Some groups of Maoists started asking for donations and requested him and his sons to participate in period activities. He said that I don’t like Maoist activities. After I said that I could not send, a large group of Maoists came to our house one morning and beat my father and mother to death and demanded a donation of 10 lakhs and threatened to kill me if I did not give it. It was ten days. My father difficult Situation all family move to  India.  In that time i am children I went to see what was happening in the village for a while, he also beat me and made me participate in various Maoist activities. We still haven’t been able to go to the middle village, even though all our land is under Maoist control, there is no police administration in the village, there are many challenges, our lives are in danger, the people who threatened to kill us if our family comes, are still alive.

Second reason,The second reason was that I was at peace. The problem of Maoists was the pain of the family. I have been going to the church in search of peace in such a distressed time. An uncle told me the good news of Christ and helped me to stay. I felt peace After that, I continued to attend church regularly, I liked to hear the songs of the church, and I began to study the Bible more deeply, and I truly accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I made a firm commitment to follow Jesus. I went to Bible school. After Bible school seminar, I got the inspiration to continue church establishment and evangelism work and in the process of doing so, I started a church in Dhangadhi, but after three years some Hindu extremists encroached on the church I started and tried to destroy it. The same thing happened in Sunakothi slum in Kathmandu, there was a lot of lack of education in other slums, they started teaching free tuition to the children and there started the work of establishing a church namuna community church there also problem in rai famly kalpana rai and tikharaman rai dhurba raj lutetel They brought my house and the doors of our church and broke the glass. I filed a complaint with the police, but the police told me stop the church fellowship. I was conducting the church service facing challenges, but with time and circumstances, it became very difficult. From there, I was going to from Nepal to India, india also many challenges in  my family  so how to service life He was planning to come to South Korea after finding it difficult to live  korea also and applied for asylum in Korea. Shankar said in the interview that he had the opportunity to learn many things from the pastors and missionaries of the church south korea,he is waiting for interview. now my Casey’s going on in Nepal the human rights also just see and cannot any protection my family so now all family  members move to India and me and my wife come to Korea my father is an old almost 85 years so it’s difficult for my family  Shankar says.
