Dr. Bishnu Prasad Parajuli is a man whose life has been defined by selfless service and unwavering compassion. For nearly 45 years, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to community social service, standing with the poorest of the poor, especially orphaned and destitute children and vulnerable women. While many seek recognition or comfort, Dr. Parajuli chose a different path—one of sacrifice, perseverance, and quiet faithfulness. His life’s mission has been to become a voice for the voiceless, advocating for dignity, justice, and hope where it was most absent.
His service was never merely humanitarian; it flowed from a deep calling and God-given gift. Guided by a strong moral compass and a profound sense of divine purpose, Dr. Parajuli has consistently viewed his work as obedience to the call of the Almighty God. A God-fearing and committed Christian, he has lived out his faith not only through words, but through action—demonstrating Christ’s love among the marginalized and forgotten of society.
In recognition of his lifelong dedication to ministry and service, Dr. Parajuli has now been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Community Social Service (Ph.D.) from Kennedy University, City of Paris France. This honor stands as a testimony not only to his academic achievement, but more importantly to a life poured out in faithful service. His journey continues to inspire generations, reminding us that true leadership is found in humility, and true greatness in serving others.
डा.विष्णुप्रसाद पराजुली एक यस्तो व्यक्ति हुनुहुन्छ जसको जीवन निस्वार्थ सेवा र अटल करुणाले परिभाषित गरिएको छ। लगभग ४५ वर्षदेखि, उहाँले आफूलाई पूर्ण हृदयले सामुदायिक सामाजिक सेवामा समर्पित गर्नुभएको छ, गरिबमध्ये गरिब, विशेष गरी अनाथ र असहाय बालबालिका र कमजोर महिलाहरूको साथमा उभिरहनुभएको छ। धेरैले पहिचान वा सान्त्वना खोज्दा, डा. पराजुलीले फरक बाटो रोज्नुभयो – त्याग, दृढता र शान्त परमेश्वरमा भएको विश्वासको बाटो । उहाँको जीवनको लक्ष्य आवाजविहीनहरूको लागि आवाज बन्ने, मर्यादा, न्याय र आशाको वकालत गर्ने थियो जुन कुरा यो समाजमा सबैभन्दा अनुपस्थित थियो। जसकोलागि उहाँले आफ्नो जीवन अर्पण गर्नुभयो ।
उहाँको सेवा कहिल्यै पनि मानवीय मात्रै थिएन; यो गहिरो बोलावट र ईश्वर-प्रदत्त उपहारबाट बग्दथ्थो बलियो नैतिक कम्पास र ईश्वरीय उद्देश्यको गहिरो भावनाद्वारा निर्देशित, डा. पराजुलीले आफ्नो कामलाई सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरको आह्वानको आज्ञाकारिताको रूपमा निरन्तर हेर्नुभएकाे छ। एक ईश्वरसंग डर मान्ने र प्रतिबद्ध ख्रीष्टियन, उहाँले आफ्नो विश्वासलाई शब्दहरू मार्फत मात्र होइन, तर कार्य मार्फत पनि जिउनु भएको छ – समाजका सीमान्तकृत र बिर्सिएका मानिसहरूमाझ ख्रीष्टको प्रेम पनि प्रदर्शन गर्दै जानुभएको छ ।
सेवा र सेवाप्रतिको आफ्नो जीवनभरको समर्पणको कदर गर्दै, डा. पराजुलीलाई अब केनेडी विश्वविद्यालय, सिटि अफ पेरिस, फ्रान्सबाट डाक्टर अफ फिलोसोफि इन कम्युनिटी सोसियल सर्भिसमा (पिएच.डि.) को उपाधि प्रदान गरिएको छ। यो सम्मान उहाँको शैक्षिक उपलब्धिको मात्र नभई अझ महत्त्वपूर्ण कुरा, विश्वासयोग्य सेवामा खन्याइएको जीवनको प्रमाणको रूपमा खडा छ। उहाँको यात्राले पुस्ताहरूलाई प्रेरणा दिइरहेको छ, जसले हामीलाई सम्झाउँछ कि साँचो नेतृत्व नम्रतामा र अरूको सेवा गर्दा साँचो महानता बाट मात्र पाइन्छ।
